Destination: Denver; pt. 1 Arizona

Budd and I departed today for our 7 day road trip; only two of the GBNU crew made it for this because the other two could not due to personal reasons (lol jerry's mom).

Barstow was our first stop (for gas), and our last in Cali.

See if you can spot the driver in that other car.

To and through Arizona...desert heat wasn't too nice to us at first.

Gas prices were though :) $3.99 for unleaded.

Our source for music on the right there...got it at the Dollar Tree where everything's a dollar!
(including our speakers)...except for select items that are $1.59.

Colorado River...Budd was playing photographer throughout our first day by the way 'cause I took driving duties. Excellent job Budd.


Lol tripped out road construction had me driving on the right shoulder of the road for about 36 miles (or at least thats what the sign said it was really about 15).

Rainbow..if you can see it there, seconds before driving into this...

Random rain cloud we drove under; lasted about 5 minutes but it was intense.

The infamous Knights Inn. Haggled ourselves a good deal.

Upon arriving at our hotel (after getting lost somehow in the Northern Arizona University campus) there was an ambulance and a fire truck; not a great first impression.
