So today was our last day in Denver and we decided to spend it in the downtown area.
Some bikers got disrespected.
We actually found out (before seeing these dismantled bikes) that a lot of people in Denver despise bikers because they always ride in the car lanes rather than bike lanes or bike paths haha.
You know I had to find the trippiest people...
"2 ugly 2 get laid, spare a dollar 4 a hooker!"
That thing in his right hand is his pet rat; and I thought I'd seen it all.
And then we went to check this out...I guess the City of Denver puts on this free movie night thing here. They put on some old flicks...
And serve FREE popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy...and there's no limit to how much you can get!
But the real entertainment of the night came with these clowns on the right. We heard them yelling from across the street so we came running. They were preaching that all of America was going to be destroyed and God hates everyone but the 12 tribes of Israel...and they were using the Bible totallyy out of context in order to prove their point. Which was wrong.
GBNU Boys x random guys on the left collabed to punk these people. I wish I would have gotten better pictures but it got too intense and I didn't think about it. They were telling people Jesus didn't love them and stuff..they had their freakin' 10 year old kid brainwashed and holding a sign for them (he also called us the Devil and cussed Budd out lol). We left after a lot of good arguing and punking them...we tried to find them again later that night so we could punk them more and explain to their blessed daughter we weren't yelling at her haha.
So after running into those douche bags we found this guy here on the right standing on top of a bench preaching the actual good word. He was very knowledgable and our goal was to take him to those other guys so he could help us punk them even more...but they were nowhere to be found.
After that we came to check this guy out and he was wayyy good. He was playing everything from John Mayer to Bone Thugs..really a great talent and I wish he had a myspace or somethin' so you guys could hear for yourselves.
Finally, probably the coolest person we met tonight was this guy by the name of C(K?)asey. He's from Tulsa, Oklahoma and is down here with the guy that was playing the guitar. We talked to him for awhile and he revealed to us that he was a christian, proceeded to share his story with us, which resulted in an overall excellent conversation. Very neat guy; he truly inspired both Budd and myself.
We're deeply distraught to be leaving Denver. We had a great experience and met all sorts of tight people...our goal is to come back very soon and for sure when we're 21. Tomorrow, well today technically in about 3 and a half hours we'll be taking off from here and heading all the way to Las Vegas.
